Many accords of Twining between he Italian cities and Saharai Dairas were signed in many Italian regions and provinces after the works of the 33rd Conference of the European Coordination of support to the Saharawi people (EUCOCO), which took place in October the 19 in Rome.
In Toscana two acts of twining were signed between the Dira of Zug (wilaya of Aousserd) represented by its Governor, Nema Said Jumani, in company of the Saharawi minister of Cooperation, Salek Baba Hacena, and Chadad Ghaid Saleh, Director of the Department of Twining in the Ministry, and the Italian city Crespina represented by its Mayor, a source from the Saharawi delegation indicated.
The provinces of Muguello and Montana signed similar acts of cooperation with the wilaya of Aousserd, in Ocotber 24 in Firenze, the same source indicated.
The different Italian political actors and local officials were unanimous in renewing their engagement with the struggle of the Saharawi people for freedom and independence.
They energetically condemned the systematic human rights violations committed by the Moroccan government in Western Sahara”, it was added.
“The ministerial visit enabled productive exchange between these different Italian regions and the Saharawi officials and helped in deepening and activating the relations between the Italian solidarity bodies and the institutions of the Saharawi Republic”, the Saharawi minister for Cooperation indicated
